Collections / Magnum Opus
The Ode · Magnum Opus
The house’s most complete study: one ceremonial silhouette, built around the Bonnet as an heirloom object.
A composed interpretation of French dressmaking from the turn of the century, with a longer line, restrained embroidery, and a textile surface that is meant to be read up close.
Materials & making
The Magnum Opus is finished slowly, with the fit and Bonnet proportion checked at each stage. The textile is allowed to remain itself: a small weave irregularity can be part of its history, while every construction seam must be clean and secure.
